The posts the tremolo pivots on and the inserts they thread into. Worn posts cause the same symptom as worn knife edges: a bridge that won't return to exactly the same place.

Diameters and thread pitches differ between manufacturers. A bridge whose posts don't match your inserts needs new inserts pressed into the body — doable, but bench work rather than a drop-in, so it's worth confirming first.
