Fit is decided by the insert already pressed into your body, not by the bridge. Stud and insert diameters are not shared across all Floyd Rose series, and metric and imperial bodies take different sizes. If the wrong insert goes in, the stud rocks on a sloppy seat and you are back to the same pitch problem. Pulling an existing insert is a bench job — if you are not certain which insert is in your guitar, measure it before ordering, or bring the guitar in rather than guessing.

The studs are hardened steel. Soft studs develop wear grooves at the knife-edge contact point over time, which is the most common reason a correctly set-up Floyd Rose develops a new tuning-stability problem without any obvious cause. If your knife edges are still clean and you are seeing drift, the studs are the first thing to check.
