Tremolo springs in standard and noiseless types, sold in sets.

Springs are the fix nobody tries. They lose tension unevenly with age, and if you're constantly re-balancing a bridge that used to sit flat, that's the signal. The number of springs should match your string gauge and tuning — three suits most 9s and 10s in standard, heavier gauges and lower tunings usually want four.
