These are the string-lock saddles for Floyd Rose SpeedLoader tremolo systems. Each saddle clamps the string at the bridge end — no ball end, no separate fine-tuner block to thread through. When a saddle cracks, strips its clamp thread or loses its locking geometry, the string either won't hold pitch or won't seat correctly. This set of six replaces the full complement across the bridge.

Fit is the critical issue here. These saddles are cut for the SpeedLoader series only. They do not transfer to standard Floyd Rose bridges or other double-locking systems, even where the overall dimensions look close. The SpeedLoader's string-loading mechanism is different enough at the saddle that cross-series fitting does not work. If your bridge is not a SpeedLoader, this is the wrong part. Check the saddle body for the locking slot style before ordering — that is the tell. The set ships as six saddles because mixing worn originals with new replacements leaves the string heights inconsistent and the radius wrong across the fretboard. Replace them together.

Material is hardened steel with a chrome finish. Hardened steel resists the deformation that soft saddle material develops under string tension and repeated locking cycles — the locking recess stays square, which is what keeps the string from creeping under load.
