This is a replacement saddle for the Floyd Rose SpeedLoader tremolo system. The SpeedLoader uses a different string-loading mechanism than standard Floyd Rose bridges — strings load from the rear of the saddle without a locking block — so this saddle is not interchangeable with saddles from other Floyd Rose series.

Fit depends entirely on what is already installed in the guitar. Floyd Rose tremolo hardware is series-specific: parts that look near-identical across generations are cut to different dimensions. Confirm you have a SpeedLoader system before ordering — not a Original, 1000 Series, or any other Floyd Rose variant. The saddle is hardened steel with a chrome finish, matching the construction of the original SpeedLoader hardware. Hardened steel saddles wear more slowly at the string contact point than softer alloys, which matters on a floating system where consistent saddle geometry affects return-to-pitch behaviour. If your current saddle shows a worn groove or the string is shifting laterally under heavy use, that is the failure mode this part addresses.
