This is a genuine Floyd Rose replacement saddle for the SpeedLoader tremolo system. The SpeedLoader uses a different string-loading mechanism than a standard Floyd Rose — strings load from the rear of the saddle rather than being clamped at the top — and this saddle is machined to that specific design. If a saddle body is cracked, chipped, or the string channel has worn to the point where intonation won't hold, this is the part that fixes it.

Fit depends entirely on what is already in the guitar. The SpeedLoader is its own series, and saddle parts are not interchangeable with other Floyd Rose generations even where the bridges look similar at a glance. Before ordering, confirm that your guitar has a SpeedLoader-series bridge installed, not a standard Original, 1000 series, or any other variant. Saddle material is hardened steel with a chrome finish. Hardened steel resists the wear that softer saddle materials show at the string contact point over time, which is usually where intonation drift starts on a used bridge.
