These are the string-lock saddles for the Floyd Rose SpeedLoader bridge — the six steel blocks that clamp each string at the bridge end and set its break angle and intonation point. If a saddle is cracked, the string-lock threads have stripped, or the saddle seats are worn enough to pull the bridge off its radius, this set replaces all six at once. The SpeedLoader system uses strings that lock at both ends without the ball-end; the saddle geometry is specific to that design.
Fit is not interchangeable with standard Floyd Rose bridges or other tremolo series, even where the saddles look the same at a glance. These are cut for the SpeedLoader system only. The set includes six saddles — two each of three sizes — because the string heights across the neck are built into the saddle profile itself. Drop in a mix of old and new saddles and the radius goes uneven; replace as a set to keep the fingerboard radius consistent string to string.
Material is hardened steel with a black finish. Hardened steel resists the wear at the string contact point that softens saddle edges over time and causes tuning instability at the bridge end.
If you are not certain this saddle set is correct for your specific guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm the fit before you order.
