These are the string-lock saddles for the Floyd Rose SpeedLoader bridge — the six pieces that grip each string at the bridge end and transfer vibration to the block. If a saddle is cracked, stripped, or the intonation screw has seized and won't back out, this set replaces the lot. They come in the three sizes the SpeedLoader uses: two each of size #0, #1, and #2, covering the full string spread from low to high.
SpeedLoader saddles are not interchangeable with standard Floyd Rose bridges or other tremolo series. The clamping geometry, string channel, and saddle body are specific to the SpeedLoader system. If your bridge does not say SpeedLoader, these will not fit — check the casting on the baseplate before ordering. The set is sold as six because mixing old saddles with new ones throws the radius off. One high saddle throws the whole neck feel. Replace them together.
Material is hardened steel with a gold finish. Hardened steel resists the deformation that builds up under string tension at the clamping edge — a soft saddle wears a groove and starts losing its lock grip over time. The gold finish matches SpeedLoader hardware in gold.
Not sure if this is the right saddle for your bridge? Send us the make, model, and year of your guitar and we'll confirm the fit before you order.
