This is a single replacement saddle for the Floyd Rose SpeedLoader tremolo system. The SpeedLoader uses a proprietary string-locking mechanism that differs from the standard Floyd Rose design — the saddle is not interchangeable with other Floyd Rose series. If a saddle is cracked, chipped, or has a damaged locking seat, this is the part that fixes it without replacing the entire bridge.
Fit is system-specific, not guitar-specific. Floyd Rose tremolo hardware looks similar across generations but is cut to different dimensions between series. This saddle fits the SpeedLoader only. Before ordering, confirm that SpeedLoader hardware is what is actually installed in the guitar — not an Original, 1000 Series, Pro, or any other Floyd Rose variant.
The saddle is hardened steel with a chrome finish, matching the construction of the original SpeedLoader hardware. Hardened steel resists the string-lock wear that gradually rounds a softer saddle's seating surface and causes tuning instability under heavy tremolo use.
If you are not certain which Floyd Rose series is in your guitar, send us the make, model, and year and we will confirm before you order.
