These are the string-lock saddles for the Floyd Rose Special series bridge. Each saddle clamps the string at the ball-end side, taking the load directly at the break point. When a saddle cracks, strips its lock screw seat, or loses enough material that the string sits inconsistently, this is the part you need.
Fit is series-specific. These saddles are cut for the Floyd Rose Special and do not swap across other Floyd Rose generations — Original, 1000, Pro, or any other — even where the hardware looks the same at a glance. They are sold as a complete set of six because saddle height determines where the string sits against the radius: drop one new saddle into a set of worn ones and the fretboard radius will not track evenly across all six strings. If you are replacing a single failed saddle, order the full set and set the heights together.
Material is hardened steel with a gold finish. Hardened steel resists the deformation that opens up around the lock screw over time, which is usually what kills saddles on a heavily used system. Part number FRS2BSSGP.
If you are not certain this is the correct saddle set for your specific guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm the fit before you order.
