Description

These are the string-lock saddles for the Floyd Rose Special series bridge. Each saddle clamps the string at the bridge end, and when a saddle cracks, strips its screw threads, or loses its clamping face, the string either won't lock or won't intonate correctly. This set of six replaces the full complement in one go.

Fit is the critical question here. Floyd Rose cuts saddles to the tolerances of each tremolo series, and the Special series saddles do not interchange with Original, 1000 series, or other variants — even where the parts look the same side by side. Beyond that, this is sold as a complete set of six deliberately: mix one or two new saddles into a worn set and the string heights will sit at different heights across the board, leaving the fretted radius inconsistent. If you are replacing saddles, replace them all.

The saddles are hardened steel with a chrome finish, matching the original Special series specification. Hardened steel resists the clamping deformation that softer alloys develop over years of restringing and block contact.

If you are not certain whether your bridge is a Special series unit, send us the make, model and year of your guitar and we will confirm the right part before you order.
