Description

These are the string-lock saddles for the Floyd Rose Original tremolo — the small hardened steel blocks that clamp each string at the bridge and set its intonation point. If a saddle is cracked, the clamp screw has stripped, or the contact face has worn enough to affect intonation, this is the part to replace. Sold as a set of six, which is two each of the three saddle sizes (#0, #1, #2) used across the six strings.

Saddles are not interchangeable between Floyd Rose series. The Original saddles are cut specifically for the Original bridge plate and will not seat correctly in a Floyd Rose Special, Pro, or 1000 Series unit, even where the parts look nearly identical. If you are not certain which series your bridge is, check the baseplate — the series name is usually stamped there. Replacing the full set at once matters too: mixing worn saddles with new ones leaves the string heights inconsistent across the radius, which makes the guitar impossible to set up correctly.

Material is hardened steel with a chrome finish, matching the Original series factory specification. Hardened steel holds the clamp contact edge longer than softer alloys, which delays the intonation drift that comes with heavy use.

If you are not certain this is the right part for your bridge, send us the make, model and year of the guitar and we will confirm before you order.
