A direct replacement saddle for the Floyd Rose Original tremolo system, finished in gold. Each saddle is the point where the string contacts the bridge — it takes the full load of the string lock screw and absorbs wear from every string change and pitch bend. When a saddle cracks, strips its screw threads or corrodes past saving, this is the part that brings the bridge back to spec. Made in Germany from hardened steel with a gold finish.
Fit is series-specific. Floyd Rose tremolo parts that look identical across generations are cut to different dimensions, and a saddle from the wrong series will not seat correctly. Before ordering, confirm that the system already installed in your guitar is the Floyd Rose Original — not the Special, the 1000 Series, the Pro or any licensed variant. If you are not certain which system you have, measure and check the existing saddle before you commit.
The hardened steel construction matters here because saddles are a wear point. A softer material will develop grooves under the string over time, which affects intonation and can cause the string to break at the contact point. The gold finish on this part matches Original-series hardware already in that finish.
If you are not certain this is the right part for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will help you confirm before you order.
