Description

A genuine replacement saddle for the Floyd Rose Original tremolo system. Saddles are the first point of contact between the string and the bridge block — a cracked, stripped or worn saddle will cause tuning instability and intonation errors that no amount of spring adjustment will fix. This is the part to reach for when the saddle itself is the problem.

Fit is series-specific. Floyd Rose hardware that looks identical across generations is frequently cut to different dimensions underneath. This saddle is built for the Original series only. Before ordering, confirm that the tremolo already installed in your guitar is a Floyd Rose Original — not a Special, 1000 series, Pro, or any licensed copy. If you are not certain which series is in the guitar, measure the existing saddle and check the bridge plate for markings before buying.

Material is hardened steel with a chrome finish. Hardened steel resists the string-lock wear that soft saddles develop over years of restringing — the kind of wear that lets the string shift under the lock block and kills return-to-pitch consistency.

If you are not sure this is the correct part for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm the fit before you order.
