Description

A single replacement saddle for the Floyd Rose Original tremolo system, finished in gold. The saddle is the small block that clamps the string at the bridge — it takes the string lock screw, bears the break angle, and transfers vibration directly to the baseplate. When one strips, cracks, or goes missing, the system will not hold pitch and the string will not lock correctly. This is the hardened steel part that fixes that.

Fit is system-specific, not just brand-specific. Floyd Rose hardware looks similar across generations but the dimensions are cut differently between series. This saddle is for the Original series only. If you are not certain which series is installed in your guitar — Original, Special, 1000, or another — confirm that before ordering. A saddle from the wrong series will not seat or clamp correctly even if it drops into the cavity.

The saddle is hardened steel with a gold finish. The gold finish matches Original-series hardware that left the factory in gold. Running a replacement with a mismatched finish against worn original hardware is common; running a saddle of the wrong series is not recoverable without sourcing the correct part.

If you are unsure which Floyd Rose series is in your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm the right part before you order.
