Description

A direct replacement saddle for the Floyd Rose Original tremolo system, finished in black hardened steel. Each saddle sits in the bridge plate and carries the string contact point and fine-tuner block — when one strips, cracks, or loses its edge from years of restrings, the bridge stops returning to pitch cleanly. Replacing the saddle is the repair, not the whole bridge.

Fit is decided by the system already in the guitar, not by how the part looks. Floyd Rose tremolo hardware is series-specific: Original, Special, Pro, 1000 series and others share a visual resemblance but are cut to different dimensions and are not interchangeable. Confirm you have an Original series before ordering. If you are not certain which series is installed, check the plate itself for a marking, or pull the string block and compare — the series is usually stamped or etched.

The saddle is hardened steel. That matters because softer metal wears a groove at the string contact point over time, which both sharpens intonation error and increases the chance of string breakage at the saddle. Hardened steel resists that wear. The black finish matches the standard Original black hardware set.

If you are unsure whether this is the right saddle for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm before you order.
