Description

These are the wood screws that anchor the Floyd Rose Original bridge stud posts into the guitar body. When the posts work loose — from repeated restrings, overtightened allen bolts or a body that has compressed around the original screws over the years — the bridge loses its fixed reference point and the whole system stops returning to pitch. Two screws come in this set, one per post.

Fit depends entirely on what is already in the guitar. Floyd Rose systems are series-specific: parts that look identical across generations are cut to different dimensions and do not interchange cleanly. These screws are cut for the Original series. If you are not certain which system is in your guitar, confirm that before ordering — fitting screws from the wrong series can strip the body thread or leave the posts undersecured.

The screws are hardened steel with a gold finish, matching the Original series hardware. Hardened steel matters here because the screw has to hold torque without deforming when the post is driven home. A soft screw that has already been driven and backed out more than once is worth replacing rather than reusing.

If you are not sure this is the right part for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will check it against what we have on the shelf.
