These are the wood screws that anchor the Floyd Rose Original bridge mounting posts to the body. When the posts work loose — or strip out the body threads entirely — the bridge cannot hold a stable seating angle, and tuning stability goes with it. This is the part that fixes that. The set contains two screws, chrome finish, hardened steel, made in Germany under the Floyd Rose Original series.
Fit is not universal across Floyd Rose hardware. The Original series is dimensioned differently from the Special, 1000 series, and other generations — parts that look the same between series are cut to different specs. Before ordering, confirm the exact system installed in the guitar. If the existing posts and baseplate are Floyd Rose Original, these screws are the correct replacement. If there is any doubt about which series is in the guitar, measure what is in there or send us the make, model and year before ordering.
Hardened steel matters here because soft screws will strip under the tension load the posts carry. The chrome finish matches the standard Original hardware. Part number FRBMWSSCP.
Not sure this is the right part for your guitar — send us the make, model and year and we will confirm before you order.
