Description

These are the wood screws that anchor the Floyd Rose Original bridge stud posts into the guitar body. When the existing screws are stripped, corroded, or missing, the stud posts cannot be seated correctly, and the bridge will shift under tension. This set of two hardened steel screws restores the mounting foundation the entire tremolo system depends on.

Fit depends on what is already installed in the guitar. Floyd Rose tremolo hardware is series-specific — parts that look nearly identical across generations are cut to different dimensions. These screws are made for the Original series only. Confirm which Floyd Rose series is in your guitar before ordering. If you are not certain, measure the existing screws and check the series designation on your bridge plate rather than going by appearance alone.

The screws are hardened steel with a black finish, matching the Original series hardware. Hardened steel resists the thread deformation that happens when a stripped hole is re-tapped or when a screw is driven into dense wood without a pilot hole. The finish is matched to the Original series black hardware — FRBMWSSBP.

If you are not sure whether this is the right part for your guitar, send us the make, model, and year and we will confirm the fit before you order.
