Description

The fine tuner tension plate is the steel bar that bridges across the sustain block of the Floyd Rose Original tremolo and carries the six fine tuner barrels. When the plate is cracked, stripped at the barrel threads, or missing entirely, the fine tuners have nothing to pull against and pitch stability goes with it. This is the replacement plate for that component — not a saddle, not a spring claw, not a block insert.

Fit is decided by the tremolo series, not the guitar brand. This plate is cut for the Floyd Rose Original series. If your bridge is a Special, 1000 series, Pro, or a licensed copy, the geometry is different and this plate will not drop in. Check the series marking on your sustain block before ordering. String count matters too — a six-string plate will not span a seven-string bridge.

The plate is steel, which is the same material as the original production part. A bent or cracked plate is usually the result of a lateral impact or a saddle screw that backed out and worked against the plate over time. Once the metal deforms, the fine tuners bind and lose their range of travel — replacement is the only fix.

If you are not certain which Floyd Rose series is mounted on your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm before you order.
