A single replacement saddle for the Floyd Rose Original tremolo system, finished in chrome. If one saddle is stripped, cracked, or showing wear at the string slot, swapping it out individually is faster and cheaper than replacing the whole bridge block assembly. This is the hardened steel version — the same material spec as the original production part.
Fit depends on which Floyd Rose system is actually in the guitar. The Original series and other Floyd Rose generations look nearly identical from a distance but are cut to different dimensions. A saddle from the wrong series will not lock or seat correctly. Check the series designation on your bridge plate before ordering — if it reads "Original", this part is built for it. If you are not certain which series is installed, measure and cross-reference before adding to cart.
The saddles are hardened steel, which matters at the contact points: the string slot and the locking screw seat take the most wear over time. A soft saddle will deform under string tension and compromise return-to-pitch accuracy. This part is manufactured to the same hardness spec as the OEM component it replaces.
If you are unsure whether this saddle matches what is installed in your guitar, send us the make, model, and year and we will confirm the fit before you order.
