A single replacement saddle for the Floyd Rose Original tremolo system. When a saddle body cracks, a fine-tuner thread strips, or the saddle insert seats unevenly and kills your intonation, this is the part that goes in. Hardened steel, chrome finish, made in Germany.
Fit depends entirely on which Floyd Rose system is already in your guitar. The Original series is its own generation, and saddles are cut to the dimensions of that system — parts from other Floyd Rose series can look near-identical on the bench and still not interchange. Before ordering, confirm you have a Floyd Rose Original, not a Special, 1000 series, or licensed copy. If the bridge plate does not say Original, measure before you buy.
Hardened steel is used here because the saddle takes the full string load and sits in constant contact with the string lock insert. Soft steel wears into the insert seat over time and throws intonation. When a saddle has worn to the point where the insert no longer sits flush, no amount of adjustment brings the guitar back to pitch.
If you are not certain which system is in your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm the right part before you order.
