Description

These are the string-lock saddles that sit in the bridge plate of a Floyd Rose Original tremolo and clamp each string at its break point. When a saddle cracks, strips its clamping threads, or wears to the point where it will not hold tune, this set replaces all six in one go. Replacing as a complete set keeps the string heights consistent across the fretboard; putting a single new saddle into a worn set leaves the radius uneven and the guitar will not set up correctly.

These saddles are cut and sized for the Floyd Rose Original series. Floyd Rose saddles are not interchangeable across series — a saddle made for a different generation of Floyd Rose hardware may look identical but will not seat or clamp correctly. Before ordering, confirm that your bridge is specifically an Original-series unit. If you are not certain which version you have, look for the series name stamped on the sustain block or the baseplate. When in doubt, measure your existing saddles and compare against the Original specification before buying.

Material is hardened steel with a black finish. Hardened steel resists the deformation that softens clamping force over time; the black finish matches Original-series hardware already on the guitar. Set contains six saddles.

If you are unsure whether this is the correct part for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm the fit before you order.
