This is the sustain block for a Floyd Rose Original series tremolo — the granite slab that bolts to the underside of the base plate and anchors the springs. It replaces a worn, corroded or simply stock block on an Original-series bridge. The material here is granite, not zinc or brass. Granite transfers vibration differently: the attack character changes on installation. Whether that is what you are after is a separate question from whether it fits.

Block length is the fit constraint that matters most. At 37mm, this block has to clear your body cavity. Too long and it bottoms out mid-dive; too short and the springs sit at the wrong angle. The mounting screw pattern also has to match the base plate it is bolting to — this is an Original-series block, and it has to go onto an Original-series plate. Because this is a larger-format block, a floating setup may require routing in the spring cavity to give it room. Measure your existing block and your cavity depth before ordering. Do not assume a match based on the guitar model alone.

The block is machined from granite and ships with stainless steel mounting screws. Granite is harder and denser than the zinc alloy used in stock blocks. The crystalline structure does not require factory treatment or additional processing — it installs as-cut. This also means it is not forgiving of a cavity that is marginally tight. If the block cannot move freely through its full arc, the bridge will not return to pitch.
