A 37mm brass sustain block in Floyd Rose's L-shaped "Fat" profile, made for Original series Floyd Rose units. The standard sustain block hangs straight down from the base plate. This one adds a horizontal shelf of brass extending into the space under the tremolo arm — an area that sits unused in a conventional block. The extra mass comes from that shelf, not from a longer block. Brass changes the character of the attack and midrange response relative to the steel block this replaces.

Two things decide whether this block fits your guitar. First, block length: the 37mm dimension has to clear your body cavity. Too long and the block bottoms out before you finish a dive. Too short and your springs sit at the wrong angle. Measure your current block and measure the cavity before ordering — do not assume the number matches because the tremolo looks the same. Second, the L-shape itself: because this block is wider than a conventional profile, it may require routing in the spring cavity for a floating setup. In a blocked bridge configuration the extra mass can rest against the body, which is fine. In a floating setup that has never been routed, it may not clear. Check the cavity dimensions before fitting.

The block is brass throughout, uncoated. Brass transfers string energy differently from steel — the attack rounds slightly and the midrange fills out. Whether that suits your setup is a separate question from fit.
