A steel shim that sits beneath a Floyd Rose Original locking nut to raise it fractionally in the slot. When the nut is seated too low, the strings foul the first fret under clamp pressure or buzz open. Adding one or more shims lifts the nut until the break angle and string height are correct. This shim is 0.03 in size and is part of the Original series.

Before ordering, confirm this shim is for the right nut family. The locking nut it goes under has to match your neck's width at the nut slot and your fretboard radius — those two dimensions decide fit, not the guitar model name. A nut that is too flat in radius leaves the outer strings sitting proud of the fretboard; one that is too narrow crowds the strings toward the edge. If you do not know which size is in the guitar, measure the existing nut before ordering a shim — the shim inherits the fit constraints of the nut it spaces.

Material is steel. Shims are thin and easy to lose during a setup; order a spare if the slot has needed adjustment before.
