This is the base plate for a Floyd Rose Non-Fine Tuner tremolo system — the main body that anchors to the body posts and carries the saddle block, knife edges, and all mounted hardware. If your existing plate is cracked, the knife edges are too far gone to dress, or the body is corroded through, this is the part that brings the system back to a serviceable baseline. Finished in satin gold hardened steel.
Fit is series-specific. Floyd Rose has produced tremolo systems across multiple generations, and parts that appear identical between them are cut to different dimensions. This plate is built for the Non-Fine Tuner series only — that is the system without individual fine-tuner barrels at the rear of the bridge. Before ordering, confirm exactly which series is fitted to your guitar. If the bridge currently has fine-tuner barrels, this plate will not be a straight swap.
The plate is hardened steel. That matters because the knife edges — the two contact points that the plate pivots on — take the full load of string tension every time the arm moves. Soft steel rounds off at those edges over time and kills return-to-pitch. Hardened steel holds the geometry longer.
