The FRNFTBPCP is a hardened steel base plate for Floyd Rose Non-Fine Tuner tremolo systems, finished in chrome. The base plate is the chassis the entire bridge sits on — if it is cracked, corroded, or the knife-edge seats have worn past the point of reliable return, replacing it is the fix. Swapping the saddle block or spring claw will not solve a damaged plate.

This part is cut specifically for the Non-Fine Tuner series. Floyd Rose tremolo components that look interchangeable between series often are not — block geometry, post spacing, and plate dimensions vary across generations. Before ordering, confirm the exact series designation of the system already in the guitar. If the bridge plate in the guitar carries a different series designation, this part will not be a straight swap.

The plate is hardened steel, which matters at the knife edges. That is where most base plates fail — the steel wears under string tension and the bridge stops returning to pitch consistently. A soft plate re-wears quickly; hardened steel holds the edge longer.
