The arm housing is the threaded socket that receives the tremolo arm. When the thread strips, the arm wobbles or will not lock at angle — the bridge still intonate and the block still moves, but the arm itself is useless. This part replaces that socket. It is made from hardened steel with a satin chrome finish and is cut to Floyd Rose Non-Fine Tuner dimensions.
Fit depends on which system is already in the guitar. Floyd Rose hardware is series-specific: a housing from the Fine Tuner series and one from the Non-Fine Tuner series can look nearly identical in a photo but are not interchangeable. Confirm you have a Non-Fine Tuner system before ordering. If you are not certain which variant is installed, pull the arm out and check the bridge plate — the presence or absence of the fine-tuner saddle screws will tell you immediately.
Hardened steel matters here because the arm threads see repeated torque every time the arm is tightened or repositioned. Softer material is what strips in the first place; replacing a stripped housing with the same grade will not last. This part is machined to the same spec as the original.
If you are not certain this is the right housing for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm before you order.
