The arm housing is the threaded block that sits in the bridge plate and receives the whammy bar. When the housing strips, cracks, or loses its thread tension, the arm wobbles or won't stay put at the angle you set. This is a direct replacement housing for Floyd Rose Non-Fine Tuner systems, finished in black, made from hardened steel.

Fit depends on which system is already in the guitar. Floyd Rose hardware is series-specific — parts that look identical across generations are cut to different dimensions. This housing is for the Non-Fine Tuner series.
