Description

The arm housing is the threaded receiver that accepts the tremolo arm and holds it at angle. When the housing strips, cracks, or works loose from the block, the arm either flops or won't stay positioned. This is a direct replacement housing in hardened steel with a satin black finish, built for Floyd Rose Non-Fine Tuner systems.

Fit is system-specific, not brand-specific. Floyd Rose has produced several generations of hardware, and parts that look identical between series are cut to different dimensions. This housing is correct for the Non-Fine Tuner series only — confirm which series is installed in your guitar before ordering. If you are not certain, pull the saddle block and check the existing housing or contact us with the make, model and year.

The housing is hardened steel. Housings tend to fail at the threads — either the arm thread strips from repeated overtightening, or the housing itself shears at the block interface. A stripped housing cannot be chased back; it needs replacing. Hardened steel resists the thread wear that takes out softer alloy versions over time.

If you are not sure this is the right part for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm before you order.
