The Floyd Rose Special FRTSSS6000 is a complete 7-string double-locking tremolo kit in Antique Silver. One box covers the full installation: bridge plate, saddles, sustain block, locking nut, springs, claw, mounting studs, and all hardware. Nothing else to source before you can bolt it in.
String count and mounting geometry decide whether this fits your guitar before anything else. This is a 7-string unit — it will not work on a 6-string or 8-string instrument. Beyond string count, a recessed Floyd-style system requires a rear cavity routed into the body, and your existing stud spacing and neck angle have to line up with this unit's footprint. If you are pulling a non-locking bridge off a guitar that was never routed for a recessed tremolo, that is a routing job, not a drop-in swap. Measure the cavity, check the stud spacing, and confirm the neck angle before ordering.
The Special Series uses a spot-hardened steel base plate and steel tremolo arm, springs, and screws. The saddles and sustain block are zinc alloy rather than steel and brass respectively — that is the material difference between this series and an Original Floyd Rose. The tremolo arm is steel. These are the factory materials for this series; they are not a field modification.
