A complete double-locking tremolo kit in Antique Silver from Floyd Rose's Special series. The box contains everything needed for a full installation: bridge, locking nut, springs and claw, mounting studs, and all ancillary hardware. The Special series is manufactured in Korea specifically for Floyd Rose. It follows the Original Floyd Rose design but substitutes zinc alloy saddles and a zinc alloy sustain block in place of steel and brass. The base plate is spot-hardened steel. The arm, screws, and springs are steel.
String count and mounting style are the two constraints that decide whether this part fits your guitar before anything else is considered. This is a 6-string unit — it will not accommodate a 7- or 8-string instrument. Beyond string count, your guitar's existing body route, stud spacing, and neck angle all have to align with this system's requirements. If your guitar already runs a recessed double-locking bridge, this may drop in with minimal work. If you are swapping out a non-locking or top-mount bridge, that is a routing job that has to be scoped at the bench — not a straight parts swap. Measure your stud spacing and check your cavity depth before ordering.
The zinc alloy block and saddles are the material trade-off in the Special series relative to the Original. Zinc alloy is lighter than brass and will behave differently under sustained bending and temperature change. If your existing block is brass and you are replacing a worn unit like-for-like, note the material difference before committing.
