A complete double-locking tremolo system built for 7-string electric guitars. The FRTS100S ships as a full kit — bridge, saddles, locking nut, tremolo block, arm, springs and claw, mounting studs, and all installation hardware. Nothing is sold separately. The double-locking design clamps the strings at the nut and at the bridge saddles, which is what keeps a floating system in tune after heavy use of the arm. The satin chrome finish is the only finish variant for this part number.
String count and mounting style decide whether this fits before anything else. This is a 7-string unit; it will not work on a 6-string or 8-string guitar. Beyond string count, the existing route in the body is the critical constraint. A recessed system requires a rear cavity routed into the body and a specific stud spacing; a top-mount system sits on the surface. If you are coming from a non-locking bridge, fitting a double-locking system is a routing job — the body needs to be cut. Check your existing stud spacing and cavity dimensions against the unit before ordering. If those dimensions are not in your guitar's documentation, measure the body before committing to this part.
Materials drawn from the original specification: the baseplate and saddles are hardened steel, the tremolo block is nickel-plated brass, the arm is stainless steel, and the springs are coiled steel. Brass blocks are common in this design because brass damps less high-frequency sustain than cheaper zinc alloys, and the nickel plating resists corrosion inside the cavity where the block sits.
