The Floyd Rose FRTS800 is a complete 7-string double-locking tremolo kit — bridge, saddles, block, locking nut, springs, claw, mounting studs and all installation hardware in one box. The system locks the strings at both the nut and the saddles, which is why a Floyd Rose holds pitch through hard use where a standard vibrato cannot. Nothing is sourced separately; the kit is self-contained.
String count and mounting geometry decide whether this fits before anything else. This is a 7-string unit — it will not work on a 6-string or 8-string guitar. Beyond string count, the existing route in your body determines the job: if your guitar already has a recessed Floyd Rose cavity with the correct stud spacing and neck angle, a replacement system may drop in with minimal work. If you are coming from a non-locking bridge, plan on a routing job. If you are coming from a 6-string Floyd Rose cavity, the wider 7-string footprint changes the equation again. Measure the cavity, the stud spacing and the neck angle before ordering.
