A complete double-locking tremolo kit from Floyd Rose's Special series, finished in black nickel. The box contains everything needed for installation: bridge, locking nut, springs and claw, mounting studs, and the remaining hardware. Nothing is sold separately. The Special series is Floyd Rose's own Korean-manufactured line — the geometry follows the Original Floyd Rose design, with zinc alloy saddles and a zinc alloy sustain block in place of the brass and steel used on the Original.
String count and routing are the two things that decide whether this kit fits your guitar. This is a 6-string unit — it will not carry 7 or 8 strings. Beyond that, a recessed installation requires a rear cavity routed into the body; a top-mount installation does not. If your guitar already runs a double-locking Floyd-pattern bridge, confirm that your existing stud spacing and neck angle are compatible before ordering. If you are replacing a non-locking bridge, understand that fitting a recessed system is a routing job — the body needs material removed, and the neck angle may need adjustment. That is bench work, not a drop-in swap.
The baseplate is spot-hardened steel. Saddles and sustain block are zinc alloy; the tremolo arm and screws are steel; springs are coiled steel. Zinc alloy components are lighter than their brass and steel equivalents and behave differently under temperature swings — worth knowing if you are comparing this to an Original Floyd Rose or a brass-block aftermarket unit.
