The FRTS7000 is a complete double-locking tremolo kit from Floyd Rose's Special series, finished in antique bronze. One box contains everything needed for a full installation: bridge, locking nut, sustain block, springs and claw, mounting studs, and associated hardware. Nothing needs to be sourced separately.
String count and mounting style are the two decisions that determine whether this part fits your guitar before anything else. This is a 6-string unit — it will not work on a 7 or 8-string instrument. Beyond string count, the existing route in your guitar body governs the job. If you are swapping a non-locking bridge for this system, that is a routing job, not a drop-in swap. Stud spacing and neck angle both need to be verified against your current setup. Measure before ordering.
The Special series uses a zinc alloy sustain block and zinc alloy saddles rather than the brass block and steel saddles found on the Original series. The base plate is spot-hardened steel. The tremolo arm and springs are steel. These are the material trade-offs that define the Special series relative to the Original — useful to know if you are replacing a system rather than building fresh.
