This is a full rebuild kit for a 6-string Floyd Rose Original-footprint double-locking tremolo. Everything needed for a complete installation ships together: bridge, locking nut, springs and claw, mounting studs, and the remaining hardware. The Hot Rod Series sits on the same dimensions as the FR Original and adds a fat brass block and stainless steel screws over the standard Original spec. The double-locking system clamps at both the nut and the saddles, which is the only way to pull the string tension away from tuning stability on a floating bridge.
This kit is a drop-in replacement only if the dimensions of what is already in the guitar match the FR Original series footprint — same string count, same stud spacing, same routing. If your guitar has a different bridge series installed, or if you are fitting a Floyd to a non-Floyd body, measure the cavity and the stud spacing before ordering. A mismatch here is a routing job, not a parts swap.
The baseplate and saddles are hardened steel. The block is brass — heavier than the steel block on a standard Original, which affects sustain and the way the bridge responds to temperature. Screws are stainless steel. The bridge itself is manufactured in Germany; the stainless screws are made in the USA.
