This kit contains everything needed to rebuild or replace a Floyd Rose Original-series bridge in one job: the bridge unit itself, a locking nut, springs and claw, mounting studs, and all installation hardware. The Hot Rod Series sits in the same footprint as the FR Original but ships with a Fat Brass block and stainless steel screws as standard. The block and the screws are the functional difference between this kit and a straight Original replacement — if you want both without sourcing them separately, this is the bundle.
Fit comes down to one question: does the bridge already in the guitar share the dimensions of the Floyd Rose Original series? If the answer is yes, this is a drop-in swap. If the guitar has a different-series bridge — or a non-Floyd Rose unit — the stud spacing or body routing may not match, and the job becomes more than a parts swap. Measure what is in the guitar before ordering. If the existing bridge is already out, measure the cavity and the stud centres.
The base plate and saddles are hardened steel. The block is brass. Screws are stainless steel. The tremolo arm is stainless steel. Springs are coiled steel. Finish is black throughout the kit. The bridge is made in Germany; the screws are made in the USA.
