Ibanez produced the RGD61ALETMGM as part of the RGD Axion Label series, positioning it as an extended-range, high-output instrument built around a 26.5" baritone scale length and a factory drop-D voicing intended for down-tuned playing styles.
The guitar was constructed with a Nyatoh body and a Maple top, paired with a five-piece Nitro Wizard neck of Panga Panga and Walnut. The Macassar Ebony fretboard carried 24 Jumbo Sub Zero treated frets with White Step off-set dot inlays, a 400mm radius, and a nut width of 43mm. An Evertune bridge with 10.3mm string spacing handled intonation duties. Electronics consisted of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker Ceramic active pickups at both neck and bridge positions.
