Ibanez built the M510EOVS as an A-style acoustic-electric mandolin, finished in Open Pore Vintage Sunburst. The body pairs a spruce top braced in an X pattern with sapele back and sides, all finished in an open-pore treatment on this OVS variant rather than a full gloss. The neck is okoume, meeting a purpleheart fretboard across 20 frets with a flat radius and a 30mm nut width. Scale length runs 350mm. The bridge and saddle are also purpleheart, and ivory body binding trims the body perimeter. A magnetic single pickup routes signal to a 1/4" output jack. Chrome mandolin tuners handle the eight bronze strings, with 10mm string spacing at the bridge. Neck dimensions measure 22mm thickness at the first fret, deepening to 24.5mm at the seventh.
