Ibanez built the AVC11ANS as part of the Artwood Vintage series, positioning it as a grand concert acoustic intended to evoke vintage acoustic construction through tonewoods and appointments drawn from that tradition. The semi-gloss Antique Natural finish and herringbone purfling place it toward the more ornamented end of the Artwood Vintage range.
The top is a Thermo Aged Solid Caucasian Spruce, braced with Thermo Aged Spruce X bracing, while the back and sides are Okoume. The Nyatoh neck is cut to a Soft-V profile, 45mm at the nut, and carries an Ovangkol fretboard with a 400mm radius over 20 frets at a scale of 634mm. Neck dimensions run 21.5mm thick at the first fret and 22.5mm at the seventh; body depth reaches a maximum of 4¼ inches. The Ovangkol bridge is fitted with an unbleached oil-impregnated bone saddle, and the nut is the same unbleached oil-impregnated bone. Ibanez Advantage bridge pins anchor D'Addario XTAPB1253 strings (.012–.053) at 11mm string spacing. Antique Chrome tuners with oval knobs handle tuning. Tortoiseshell body binding, a wooden multi-ring soundhole rosette, and Gold Mother of Pearl dot inlays complete the visual package.
