Ibanez positioned the ACFS380BTOPS within its Artwood Series as a stage-ready acoustic-electric, built around a cutaway grand concert body with a deeper body depth and a solid Engelmann Spruce top braced with scalloped X bracing. The open pore semi-gloss finish was applied across the body, leaving the wood surface with a more natural, uncoated feel than a high-gloss alternative.
The five-piece African Mahogany and Pau Ferro neck carries a thin C profile with rounded fretboard edges, topped with a Macassar Ebony fretboard over 20 frets.
