Schecter positioned the C-1 Apocalypse at the high-performance end of its C-1 series, building the guitar around a set-neck construction with Ultra Access and a swamp ash body finished with ivory 1-ply binding and an arched top. The Carbon Black finish was the colour offered on item number 723.
The maple and padauk multi-ply neck incorporates carbon fiber reinforcement rods and carries an ebony fretboard with a 12"–16" compound radius, 24 X-jumbo stainless steel frets, and mother of pearl triangle inlays at the 12th and 24th frets; glow-in-the-dark side dot markers assist low-light orientation. The 25.5" scale runs from a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (42mm width) to a Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-through-body stringing. Both pickup positions carry Schecter USA Apocalypse-II™ humbuckers, routed through a four-control layout — two volumes (the bridge volume on a push-pull pot), one tone, and a 3-way switch — with Hipshot O-Ring knobs throughout. Schecter locking tuners and satin black hardware complete the specification. The neck profile is a Thin 'C', measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth, and the truss rod is a two-way adjustable unit adjusted with a 5/32" allen key.
