The Schecter 6257 Apocalypse-VII is a seven-string bridge pickup. It uses a tri-field magnet arrangement: Alnico V direct-coupled construction combined with ceramic 8 flanking magnets on each side. The result is a bridge pickup wound to 16.4k ohms output. Four-conductor wiring gives you full split-coil capability — you can run it humbucker or split it to single-coil through your switching.

Two things decide whether this fits your guitar. First, string count: this is a seven-string pickup and it is not interchangeable with a six-string or eight-string route. Second, spacing: this pickup is specced at 61mm universal spacing, which suits bridge position on a tremolo-equipped seven-string — a neck-spaced pickup dropped into a bridge route puts the outer strings off the pole pieces. Also check your mounting situation before ordering. A direct-mount body routes the pickup straight to wood; a ring-mount body uses a pickup surround. The hardware each requires is different, and neither adapts cleanly to the other without modification.

The 14 high-carbon steel socket-set pole pieces are individually adjustable. The baseplate is black industrial-coated nickel/silver. Bobbins are translucent smoke black. The 4-conductor harness terminates loose — you solder it to your own switching.
