Description

The Schecter 6115 Sunset Strip is a six-string bridge pickup built around a ceramic 8 direct couple magnet construction with a solid nickel/silver baseplate. Output measures 12.6k ohms. The four-conductor harness supports split-coil wiring, so you can wire it for humbucker or single-coil operation without swapping the pickup out. The six nickel-plated carbon steel pole pieces sit at 49mm traditional spacing.

Two things decide whether this fits your guitar: pole spacing and string count. This is a six-string pickup at 49mm traditional bridge spacing — not neck spacing, not seven- or eight-string spacing. Bridge position on a tremolo-equipped guitar typically runs wider than the neck position, so a pickup wound for neck spacing will leave your outer strings sitting off the poles. Confirm your existing route dimensions before ordering. Also check your mounting: direct-mount bodies and ring-mount bodies need different hardware, and that hardware is not interchangeable.

The pole pieces are six nickel-plated carbon steel units with six #5 slot pan head Phillips screws opposite, giving you height adjustment on both rows. The ceramic magnet design favors a tighter low end and faster attack than Alnico — a common choice for high-gain bridge positions where note definition under heavy picking matters more than bloom.

If you are not certain this is the right pickup for your guitar, send us the make, model, and year and we will check it against what we know.
