The Schecter 6350 MonsterTone PT is a ceramic bridge pickup for six-string T-style guitars. It uses a tapped design — the same circuit principle as Schecter's original F500T — which means a single pickup can run at two different output levels. At full power the DC resistance measures 7.7k ohms. The three-conductor Teflon-coated wire harness carries the tap wire out to the control cavity so you can wire the second voice to a switch. Traditional VFB bobbin construction keeps the geometry close to the vintage single-coil profile the route expects.
Two measurements decide whether this pickup fits before you order. First, pole spacing: this pickup is spec'd at 56mm universal spacing, which is the wider spread used at the bridge position on tremolo-equipped and hardtail T-style guitars — confirm your string-to-string spread at the bridge saddles matches. Second, string count: this is a six-pole pickup. If you are running seven or eight strings, stop here. Also check your mounting situation — direct-mount bodies and pickguard or ring-mount bodies use different screw arrangements, and that is a separate compatibility question from spacing.
The six pole pieces are nickel-plated carbon steel at 0.25" diameter. The magnet is ceramic, direct-coupled to the baseplate. Ceramic construction in a bridge position tends toward a brighter, higher-output character than alnico — relevant if you are replacing an alnico original and expecting a like-for-like result.
If you are not certain this spacing or mounting configuration matches your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will check it against what we know.
