Schecter positioned the C-7 Deluxe LH as a left-handed seven-string entry in its Deluxe series, built on a bolt-on construction with a basswood body and a maple neck. The instrument was manufactured in Indonesia and finished in Satin Black.
The neck carries a Thin 'C' profile measuring .787" (20mm) at the first fret and .866" (22mm) at the twelfth, fitted with 24 narrow extra-jumbo frets on a rosewood fretboard with a 16" (406mm) radius and 4mm dot inlays. The nut is graphite at 1.889" (48mm) wide, and the truss rod is a two-way adjustable unit adjusted via a 5/32" (4mm) Allen key. The 26.5" (673mm) scale feeds into a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through-body anchoring, with chrome hardware throughout including metal knurled knobs secured by set screws. Both positions run Schecter Diamond Plus pickups, controlled by a volume, tone, and three-way toggle arrangement. Tuners are Schecter-branded. The body features a flat top with a bevel edge.
