Schecter positioned the C-6 Deluxe LH as a left-handed entry in its C-series line, built around a bolt-on maple neck and basswood body with a flat-top, bevel-edge contour. The instrument was produced in Indonesia and offered in Satin Black with chrome hardware throughout.
The neck carries a Thin 'C' profile measuring .787" (20mm) at the first fret and .866" (22mm) at the twelfth, topped with a rosewood fretboard at a 14" (355mm) radius. Twenty-four narrow X-Jumbo frets span a 25.5" (648mm) scale, with 4mm dot inlays marking positions along the way. A graphite nut at 1.653" (42mm) feeds the strings to Schecter tuners, while a two-way adjustable truss rod — accessed via a 5/32" (4mm) Allen nut — handles neck relief. At the body end, a Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-through-body anchoring handles intonation and sustain. Both pickup positions carry Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers, controlled by a volume knob, a tone knob, and a three-way pickup selector switch; all knobs are metal knurled with set screws. The guitar shipped with .010–.046 strings and without a case, which was sold separately as the SGR-UNIVERSAL GUITAR.
