Schecter positioned the C-7 Deluxe as a seven-string entry in its Deluxe series, built for players requiring the extended lower range of a seven-string instrument within a bolt-on construction format. The guitar was manufactured in Indonesia and finished in Satin White.
The basswood body features a flat top with a bevel edge and pairs with a maple neck in a Thin 'C' profile, measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth. The rosewood fretboard carries 24 narrow extra-jumbo frets over a 16" radius, with a 26.5" baritone-length scale and a 1.889" graphite nut accommodating the seven-string span. A two-way adjustable truss rod is accessed via a 5/32" allen nut. Hardware is finished in chrome throughout, including Schecter tuners, metal knurled knobs with set screws, and a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through-body anchoring. Both pickup positions use Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers, controlled by a volume, tone, and three-way toggle arrangement.
Owners sourcing replacement parts should note that the tune-o-matic bridge accepts standard tune-o-matic saddle dimensions, and the two-way truss rod requires a 5/32" (4mm) allen key for adjustment; a qualified guitar technician can advise on setup and any further hardware compatibility questions.
